Why do you think it is so difficult to control the spread of invasive species?

Invasive species are not native to the new ecosystem that they are invading therefore they have the upper hand. These species have different adaptations that help them spread faster than the other stable organisms in the environment. Once the invasive species starts to spread its almost impossible to stop due to its quick growing and competitive nature
